The film depicts two days in the lives of four real estate salesmen who are supplied with names and phone numbers of leads. This is a realistic portrayal of what it is to try making a life in high pressure sales with all its highs and lows; promises of fortunes and deliveries of dross. Red-leads and dead-leads are to blame for life's outcomes.
The "Always Be Closing" scene of the film is what most of us remember from the film. However, to me, the film is a master piece of acting. The film is not just about selling and sales tactics but about how for you can reach to support yout family needs. Al Pacino, Baldwin, Jack Lemmon, Kevin Spacey, Ed Harris, Alan Arkin played at perfection. Somehow resembles one ot those agatha christie´s mystery novels. A must to be watched!
